Most vintage sewing machines have come down in value in the last couple of years Pat. Even featherweights are a lot less than they used to be.
There really are a lot of machines around if you think about everyone sewing back in days gone by. I have a whole mess of machines I paid more
for than they are worth now. Never paid a whole lot unless it was something I really wanted so I am ok with them : )

Gee, I'd have thought the 99K would be worth more ... but that is just a guess. I think I will go to Beach after Labor Day ... when it is not so crowded through the Tunnel. I hope we can meet, and you can show me a shop or two. I've only been to one LQS over there. PAT

So, when are you coming to the beach?? You could plan a S E X (hope
I typed that right...) trip, or a day of basking on the beach. It's
almost cool enough to do that, in my weather book, without frying one's
brains.
