Speaking of finished ...

I've just finished one, too. :) In fact, I've finished one quilt and
made good progress on a cardigan. The link to my blog for pics is below
in my signature.
Okay, I have to admit that I didn't *quite* tell the truth; I don't have
a label on that quilt yet. My tried-and-true software for making labels
bit the dust some time ago. <sob> I've tried various substitutes,
including MS Word and EQ, but I'm just not happy with the results.
That's life.
However, I decided that I could probably have some fun with machine
embroidery, using it to make labels, so I hooked up my module (first
time ever!) and set up the design I wanted for the quilt I just
finished. Oops. Nothing happened except for major thread nests on the
back. Multiple times. I checked threading (rethreading), cleaned the
bobbin area and rethreaded that, re-seated the module, made sure the
presser foot was down -- everything I could think of and everything a
friend could think of. No joy. I'll be off to the LQS later this morning
for help. But the quilt is finished except for that! ;)
