Oh yes - there it is. had looked under Bee and found nothing, and then went through looking for pictures of bees. Pretty blocks there though, one day I may get round to making a sort of Dear Jane type quilt out of it.... perhaps!

Sally, have a look at page 77 of "501 Quilt Blocks". It's called.
honeybee. But it's very stylized!

Think I will have to wait for a bit of sun before I get the camera out.
Its so dark and miserable here at the moment and it would probably be
easier outside and better without the flash and using natural light.
Lights on at 3.00pm I do not like! We seem to get a reasonable day -
spirits rise - then back to greyness. Still, it isn't as cold as it was,
and no snow.
I'm busy doing the farm wallhanging at the moment too - only 24" and
applique. The animals are all stitched - now its time for flowers and
butterflies. I had forgotten the 501 quilt block Better Homes book
Roberta mentioned in the 'I need encouragement' thread, I should find
some suitable bits in there, though when I had a quick look there
weren't any bees.

except mine is smaller - sort of giant lap size. Nice and warm to
quilt on a chilly evening - I've used a wool batting for the first
time and it hand quilts like a dream.
I listed everyone's name on a label that's gone in the middle of the
back.

It's fine with me Kay. That's my Max. He is just a few months away from
being 15 years old.
One of those quilt tops I have yet to finish has squares from you. It
was the Starry Starry Night quilt block exchange. Actually there are
three of yours in the top. I sashed yellow around half the block and
printed names and locations where each block came from. I gotta get this
finished!

After being away from quilt making for two years, I'm making my
husband his first quilt from me. Every other one I have made has gone
mostly to daughters, granddaughters, mom, grandma. I don't even own
one that I've finished. I have a couple of tops that will eventually
be mine.
Last night I snapped this picture of my QI. As a friend of mine
commented on the picture on facebook, "Cat tested. Feline approved."
