Re: Message Problem

But if we can do FIND in OE -- and it appears -- that means it has been downloaded and is there...

it just ISN'T displaying in the list of messages???

(I search for the Subject line -- and EVERY time the missing message appears -- but when I close the find window and go to the date in the list -- nope... not there.)

Beats me!

every time one of us posts a msg it goes from our computer thru various
other servers, hopefully eventually getting to everyone else.
if by chance it hits a server doing maintence or having issues at the time
that msg reaches that server it could just get lost in cyberspace.
that route will vary on any given day for any reason or no reason at all,
well no reason i'd understand.
as long as you can find the original msg either in another reply or at
google groups you're ok.
cant be fixed, cant be helped, just something we have to learn to live with.

OK, one of the posts that I didn't receive was the one from Sunny entitled
"What's stopping you??" The first time it appeared was the response from
Joanna. I just tried to find all related messages, and the original did not
show up.
