Thank you Pati. I always forget the selvages. I have started trimming them
off now as saw a thread for using them. Cant remember atm so they will stay
in my thread box for now. I like the sound of silver. I want to keep them
light and bright if I can. Found out today I have 6 now to make. I will have
to make them all differently as I do get bored repeating myself! I have a
bag workshop to do in January and would much prefer making bags!

Great fabrics, Estelle. <G>
Colors to go with them: look at the color dots on the selvedge. That
shows the colors used in the print, and always a good way to choose
coordinating colors.
Also, brown goes well with blue, especially (in my opinion <G>) with
turquoise. So does silver/silvery grey.... think of jewelry, southwest
style. <VBG> Or copper.
As far as a pattern goes.... Warm wishes, rail fence, single Irish Chain,
9-patch and snowballs, and so many more which are very nice and simple to
do.
Relax and have fun,
Pati in Phx who sympathizes about making bags, I really need to start
giving some of them to people. <VBG> I have been teaching a Bag Lady group
for over a year, with a different bag each month. And am going to be doing
a second group at another shop starting in Jan. I am becoming a bag making
fool............<VBG>

I have at least 5 baby quilts to make and have lost my enthusiasm atm.
Its maybe because I know I have to. I have 3 fabrics which are all nearly
the same turquoise background ( the colours look totally diferent in my
webshots), I cant seem to think of. 1 a pattern and 2 a good colour to go
with them I have made a handbag to sooth my troubled brow.lol. Now have
to find a sparkly person to give it too. I love making bags.
