I've posted some photos of the end of the "IKE skies" in Ottawa
yesterday evening - the transition to clear sky was amazingly bright!
The first photo was taken from my living room by window and the other
two from the side living room window. The wave of high wind that had
brought the first rain on Saturday had lasted approx 30mins from the
NW - the second wave hit the south facing windows - the next was back
on the NW side again and so it had continued for approx 4hours.
Before all this, the humidity had given us a temp of 36C Saturday -
Sunday was down to 12C and overnight we had frost. Anyway if you want
to see the sky transition photos - they are posted in the construction
album at http://community.webshots.com/user/barnyowl Living on the
9th floor, flooding was not a problem - though the high humidity did
cause a couple of false fire alarms later in the evening on Saturday
that were 2hours apart. jennellh
Wow, Jennell! I can't believe there were actually men up on those cranes
in all of that! :O
