http://www.listal.com/video/3126371
here is the tv chef who i saw make it.
then i googled and found this video of him.
i adjusted my amounts accordingly as we only had a 180gr
block of chocolate.
this must be the blocks that are high in cocoa, ours was a
70%.
i think that might be standard for the bitter dark.
this wont work if it is the type full of milk etc, must be
the dark one.
you can start with the mixer on high but as soon as you see
it starting to thicken,
lower the speed as it will rather quickly become too thick
if not careful.
just stop occasionally and check it.
it really was easy peasy.
i did the water over lots of ice with the bowl in that
chilling down real well first.
then chopped the block up and added it to the water on the
stove.
it really is the simplest thing to make, who knew.
i love the taste and low calorie.
oddly enough i'm not usually a fan of dark chocolate. weird.
if the mixture splits (tho if i can do it, anyone can), then
return it to the pan on stove and remelt it.
i loved it. ok, all this typing makes me want to make it
again but i've no chocolate in the house now.
might need that on the weekly list. :))
good luck,
j.

Wow this sounds incredible. How much chocolate and how
much water? Did
you heat direct or was double boiler? Inquiring minds want
to know....
and eat. :-)
