How very sad, Cindy.
So many toxic chemicals around these days.
Did the 'tins' (or whatever, say nothing about possible harm to humans or animals? that could result from using the product? Check what/if the manufacturers said anything; and I do think you should contact them to tell them what happened to your little birds. I don't mean for the sake of any compensation but so that they can consider re-labelling their products in the future.
I hope the others will be all right.

The day started so good around here. Found out that finally my son and his
grilfriend are moving back home from the islands. Just made my day.
Nothing could have dampened my mood until.........
I was doing some general pick-up and decided to go sweep up the birds room.
Messy little critters they are. Just installed a new wood looking floor in
t here to make my life a little easier. Grabbed the broom and dustpan. So,
here I am just sweeping away, got sidetracked and walked out the door and
something caught my eye. I back up and there are 2 of my cockatiels laying
on the floor of their cage. Da*n. Go get DH cause I can't pick them up.
He removes them and some escape in the room. I can hear him cussing from
the other room. Then he comes in and has to ask how many are supposed to be
in here. I go in and count and I look over and in another cage my DD's
lovebird is dead.
We think that the fumes from the new floor has killed my birds. We
immediately removed the rest of them from the room. I am just absolutely
sick over this. WE finished the floor but I left the birds outta the room
for another week before moving them in there just to make sure. Well I
guess it wasn't enough. Any ideas to how make sure all the fumes are gone?
