I don't want my Window Media Player to automatically play all videos
that are downloaded. I can't seem to find where I need to change this.

Oh yes you would. Media players trying to dominate the universe
happens on them too. Real Player is the worst I've come across.
I haven't found a better solution than shouting at it a lot and
trying every control that might conceivably do something. If I
knew how to make a wax effigy of a software corporation I'd have
a great use for blunt pins.
