works great if you have a relative there that you actually still know where they
live (when they move they dont bother telling me, like now i'm not sure where
they moved to last time but they did move).

it took me over a year after mom died to find them.
i thot they might want a cheque per moms instructions.
wasnt a big one but 1k each buys someone something.
nope my usa family wasnt all that great at keeping in touch when i did live
there.
now its just not important to them.
guess i'm the black sheep for moving out of the country.
oh poor poor me, lol.

We had friends who sold everything and bought an RV. They had to use a
relative's address as their permanent address for taxes, licenses, etc. They
traveled for several years, having trouble getting important mail forwarded
etc. Finally bought another house and use their RV for the winter in the
south.

hell, you can be sure i'd have insurance.
i'd be paying all my bills online.
i am a us citizen and should be easy to find.
they just dont want my money i guess.
i wont be paying for a street address/apt/house as well as buying a big RV.
i have never reneged on paying for damage i cause and dont plan on starting
that
at my age in life.
i am not a criminal.
they'd have my RV license number and as you have to register
whenever you use a trailer park, campgrounds or such place.
i'd also be using my credit card so that is easy to trace/follow me.
it would be easy enough to trace my travels and find me in this day and age.
they also have my passport info and that makes it easy to find me in a big
fat
RV i'd think.
if all esle failed, the govt can take money from your bank accts and freeze
those accts if necessary.
that would sure curtail my wanderings quick smart, no?

Howdy!
Insurance, several kinds.
Because, after you've backed that sucker into a telephone box
or the cable t.v. router, they'll want to find you to make you
pay the damages. The local police, the RV park security,
the lady who lost her internet connection, the quilt shop owner
who is still peeved over the loss of the tree under which the
RV was parked--oops, slipped into gear--*crunch*grrrrrrind*--
they'll all be looking for you.
Hey, it happens.

can someone explain why, to register a vehicle,
one big enough to live in full time and travel round the usa,
you have to have a permanent street address first?
i dont want another home, i just wanted to buy a big mobile one,
with a satellite dish to access my email and keep in contact and
pay my bills via the net too.
