OT and not: coffee pot died

Later today I will be conducting a mini-remembrance for my coffee
maker. It had one of those pause-and-pour mechanisms. Had is the
operative word. It stopped working, and refused to allow the brewed
coffee into the pot. Messy, very messy. Coffee recycling back into the
resevoir, taking grounds with it. I air-dried it, cleaned it out, and
had it all happen again. Granted this was not a real expensive coffee-
maker, having it for 8 months, but criminy sakes! The springy-button
thingamajig isn't made well.
This morning I dug out my little 4 cup coffee maker and made a min-
pot. Probably better for me, right? Caffeine headache expected later
today.
On topic: Seeing I will be by myself tomorrow, I get to sew to my
heart's content. ;))) And pack. I move to another unit in here on
1/5.
Season's greetings to all, hugs and high-fives where appropriate
Have a peace-filled/piece-filled day,
