I don't expect to ever pin a quilt on the floor ever again. Besides the pain I get a perfect pin basted quilt using my banquet folding table.

Her book does a great job of explaining pinning and all other aspects
of great machine quilting. I would consider it a classic basic book
in every mq'er library.
There should be a lot of google on this. You are sure right about
