OT: Photo Software suggestion for eldery lady?

I appologise most profusely for going way OT but I'm formatting and setting
up a computer for an elderly lady and I'm stuck as to which software to put
on it for viewing and adjusting photographs. I use software that would be
way beyond her like Photoshop so I was curious as to what all you lovely
folk out there are using and find easy and uncomplicated.
