Hi Gang
Home again after a wonderful month in Italy. DH and I travelled around
seeing the sights and eating beautiful yummy dinners. We rented two
country villas for a week each - well, one was in the Umbria
countryside and the other was in a little stone castella group of
houses perched on a hill an hour out of Florence. As I *love*
cooking, it was great fun to sightsee during the day, step in the food
markets and prepare an Italian style dinner at night for these two
weeks. Broke up the eating out in restaurants scene which altho' is
enjoyable, is hard going for a month.

Now... where's that quilt studio in my house???

Oh, it transpires that France and Italy had their warmest April in a
century - we had blue skies every day which did seem somewhat
remarkable. Now home in southeast Queensland, it seems more like
summer than autumn with 28dC today (and more blue skies) == we could
do with lots of rain. Severe water consumption restrictions are in
force.

Hugs to everyone, for happy times and those in need of comfort.
Bronnie
