How just S-u-p-e-r, Ruth. I get to impress you with my brilliance in
mostly useless trivia. The magic word for your search is 'ombre'. There
are only two of them here, one black/white and one bit left in teal but they
are very helpful in piecing. Go see what you can find; ought to be fun.
Polly (Well. SpellCheck says that isn't even a word. I know it's not
umber or hombre.)

I am trying to find some fabric that changes shad across it's width.
Does it exist? I need some that goes from very pale yellow to a middling
yellow .
I have seen some that changes colour but not any that changes shades of
the same colour.
Clues would be gratefully accepted. I know that the collective knowledge
of this group is fantastic, but maybe I'm chasing a dream?
