I never do pass these things on - the sender of this particular one is a really close friend of mine, so I was having some angst about it. I did email her back with the info from snopes that it is a hoax, but she said her friend, who is a teacher asked her to do it. I'm just letting it die. No, I don't do charm squares, chains, etc. The few times I've had a request to participate in a charm square pyramid, I return it to the sender, with a fat quarter & an apology (just so there are no hurt feelings).

Pauline: Just refusing to pass it along is one way to help put a stop! I ALWAYS delete all 'pass it along' messages. I also NEVER participate in chains, pyramids, etc that promise post cards or charm squares or whatever. PAT

Thanks Joanna. I did not do it. I was telling DH how I decided it had to be a hoax, because no data was being collected & sent to the "kid". He told me I did the right thing. Why isn't there a way to put a stop to these things!!
