I'm baaaaaack.......sort of.

Gee, I have missed you good folks!

Working tons of OT for the past few months, so much that I haven't been able
to quilt or sew or do much of anything. Since the house hadn't been cleaned
for a month, I took this long weekend as a sign that maybe I should get it
done before I have to hire a backhoe. And of course I had to look into RCTQ
for the first time in several months.

Please note new email addy. And another note, for those of you in the
Southwest: Qwest bundled my phone, long distance, satellite TV and DSL
service--all for about $100.00 per month. I don't do cell phones, and the
TV package doesn't include premium channels, so YMMV.

I was able to go for a S.E.X. in August with QuiltShopHopper, we had a
lovely time and found that Quilter's Market is still one of the top quilt
shops anywhere, with Bella Quiltworks a close second. Both shops feature
beautiful fabrics, plenty of tools and books, and the nicest staff I've met
in a long time. It was a much-needed break in the monotony of
work-eat-sleep-work-eat-sleep..........

Now I am just itching to do what Alice W. and several others have
done--empty the sewing/computer room and review every darned thing in it
before it is replaced. Who knows, I might even be able to finish painting
the walls! But that delightful task must wait until the OT is finished at
work, and it may be another month or so.

I hope all of you are well and happy and productive. Good thoughts, belated
HBs and HAs, sympathies and happy dances to those folks who need or want
them. Though I am not often online anymore, will try to check in from time
to time and see how you all are doing.

Peace, Love and Light.

Carolyn in The Old Pueblo
