DSisIL had a 'Garden Party' for her 50th birthday. At the end of the
day she had weeded borders, a mowed lawn and a clean pond.

She asked for the labour instead of presents, but most people arrived
with a plant of some kind as well as thir spades, so she had a newly
planted pristine garden at the end of it, and we had all worked off
calories in preparation for the birthday food!
