now this is why I bought my computer where I did: hard drive died after 2
years and got replaced for FREE
power supply died and got replaced for under $30 (= parts cost only) my
computer is nearly 5 years old and works well - the only thing I'm lacking
is memory and sadly when I bought my computer RIMM memory was hyped to be
the next up and coming *thing* however it turned out to be the next flop so
I can't get more memory for my computer (RIMM won't talk with anything else
apparently <sigh>)

My computer place was set up by tech uni students wanting to make money to
pay for tuition now 7 years on it's country wide and the best computer shop
around with excellent service. they make the computers themselves have good
warranty and will add any part or replace any part for parts cost only if
your computer was bought from them *and* there is no charge for finding out
what is wrong with your computer.

next time I buy a computer I am asking for at least *double* the memory they
are offering LOL

I am using a computer that is not a year old and We are in the process
of replacing one of the drives. I didn't even use it that often. Of
course, the drives that are put in brand new are cheap ones.
You are not alone I will pout with you. It is always better to pout in
a group than alone. Who wants to join?????
