I did stop reading. But what I did read was highly inappropriate. I *really* don't know why people post such deeply personal and extremely graphic material in such a public place. You might as well print it out and tape it up in the public library. *It's the same thing.* This is a quilting newsgroup, not a cancer support center.

I know I'm going to get hammered for this, but it needs to be said. Forpetesake, there are HUGE boundary issues going on here when people post this kind of material. It's not that I'm unsympathetic, it's that I'm appalled at the lack of discretion and absence of boundaries. This *isn't* a quilting frame, however much we want to pretend it is. Get a grip on reality -- it's NOT a quilting frame. It's a public bulletin board. A *highly* public bulletin board. It isn't an appropriate place for graphic descriptions of infected boobs or detailed blow-by-blows of medical treatment. I've said before that you might as well announce it from your courthouse steps, and for all you know, you are. None of us should post anything we can't say in a public place in front of strangers, because that *is* exactly what we're doing.
