I'll second Jan's opinion. Even before I started longarming, I started
buying my quilting thread in cones because it's more cost effective than
buying enough spools to quilt a decent sized quilt. Plus, you have thread
left over to use in piecing, for next time, or to share with a friend.
I've been a tad underwhelmed with the quality vs. price I've seen on ebay,
so I stick with Kingsmen ( http://www.kmquiltingsupply.com/ ) and Columbia
River Quilting (http://columbiariverquilting.com/threads.html )
