Outstanding news!! So glad to hear he's doing well. Here's prayers that
he'll be able to eat on his own and get the tube done with.

As many of you know, my stepfather had stage 4 throat cancer and
underwent both chemo and radiation treatments. He had his "after
treatment cancer scan" last week and got the results today. There was
no sign of cancer at all. This is doubly great news for us as he had
decided that if there was any cancer left he was not going to do any
more treatments.
Although he still has a feeding tube, he has begun to eat a little
regular food too. This is wonderful because it was possible that he
would not be able to swallow at all. If he can eat enough on his own
he will be able to have that tube removed.
And the last bit of good news is that he is already starting to put
back on the weight he had lost. So far he has gained 2 pounds since
the end of his treatments.
We are all doing a happy dance here!
