Howdy!
Googled: taupe Japanese fabric
and got some beautiful returns.
This one is a must do: http://tinyurl.com/lmu4y
The CottonPatch Co. UK selection:

It's enough to make you swoon, esp. after looking at Polly's
recommended quiltshops.com http://quiltshops.com/search.htm
When used in men's clothing, pink is never mentioned w/ "taupe." <VBG>
But we know, we know, don't we? ;-D
Ragmop/Sandy--a bit sad to see our guests leave for Illinois,
altho' I need solitude for at a day; my favorite uncle and aunt
enjoyed the visit, too ;-)

Taupe -would that be a color similar to tea-dyed? With maybe a teensy drop
of pink thrown in? Might be easier to buy a bolt of WOW and dye your own.

I tried really hard to catch up on all the posts but -
alas - there are just too many! I just can't read that much
anymore LOL
However I would like to throw a couple of questions out
there to all you knowledgable quilters.
1. Has anyone seen the CD AQS are selling of the recent
show? What's it like - worth getting?
2. Does anyone have a good source for a wide range of
taupe coloured quilting fabrics? I love taupe, but most
places I am lucky to get one or two only, and I am looking
for about 20 (even 30 if possible!) for a project that is
turning over in the back of my mind. It's a longterm plan
so I am not in a hurry, but I can't seem to find any of the
lovely Japanese taupes I have seen in magazines recently.
TIA for any responses
Now slinking back under my favourite quilt for a while. The
frost this morning was heavy enough to look like snow!
