Re: What would you do with this?

I adore LB designs and have bought much over the years, but
always have this problem - what to do with them.

The last panel I bought (Fantastic Felines) I never used. I
just reproduced three of the figures about 12X the size for
a centre panel in applique and added borders from the other
fabrics in the series. The recipient was a true ailurophile
and loved it. I still have the panel but will eventually
get around to either making a wall hanging as a gift or just
giving it away.

I still have some of her Birdsong fabric to fussy cut and
applique a long meandering branch or colourful birds all
around the border on a quilt I haven't designed yet LOL

So now I usually just buy the border fabrics and the larger
all-overs and work from her basic design motifs (it takes
less than 2y for corners on a BIG on-point medallion, and
just over 2y for the borders).

But embellishing the heck out of the panel for a fabulous
wall hanging sounds like a great idea. Or fussy cut some
and put it on a fleece jumper so you can take it with you
wherever you go. I have three tops like that already so I
am resisting this series . . . . . but ooohhhhhh that
earthtones one is so gorgeous, isn't it!?
