I have been absent for quite a few months....popping in to read very
occassionally. But I have been busy quilting!! I've posted my 2 latest
quilts in the More Quilts album. Washed the Tennessee Waltz quilt only
this morning. First attempt at free motion and following a design and
after 49 blocks and the border I still don't steer straight but it was
getting better. Thank goodness for press n seal though!!! And yes,
there is a slight mistake in the quilt........one of the small blocks got
going the wrong way and I didn't notice until after that block was
quilted. Pondered for a couple days on what to do but decided to leave
it.

I made my version of an I Spy quilt for really good friends of my sons
who had a baby in February. Turned out cute. I have one more to make
very soon. I am now a Great Aunt for the first time so I told my neice I
was making the baby a quilt.

I am having cataract surgery at the end of May, and a week later for the
other eye, so it is a must that I have it done before that. Plus a few
other projects to be finished up as you never know if the surgery will be
a total success or not.

My birthday was a few weeks ago and I too received gorgeous birthday
squishies that made my day when they arrived......thanks again to those
people!!!!!
