there is a right side??
actually on most of the batiks I use there is no difference - especially for
the monotone ones from Hoffman's which I use almost exclusively as it's hard
to get much else around here - but then the quality is good so that bit
doesn't bother me much. LOL
the ones with a pattern do sometimes have a side that is clearer than the
other but even then as long as you don't mind a bit of variation you don't
need to bother watching the difference - if you do mind then mark each piece
as you cut with a little sticker so you know what side you have decided is
the right side.
I have made 6 mainly or all batik quilts in the past year and a few other
projects so I can be safely called a batik lover ;-)

right side of a batik?
