Yep, you better not trade him in yet : ) You sound like a great team
Phyllis. That is what marriage is all about. Working together.
Good for both of you! You are an inspiration to me. I don't have
to deal with nearly the restrictions you do but hearing how well
you two are doing helps a lot.
Hugs, Taria

Thank you, Polly. We've been battling his diabilities, one after another for 15 of our 21 years together, and I couldn't ask for a nicer, gentler, more compliant "patient". He's never lost his sense of humor, only "cheats" on his diet when I let him, and has lost 224 pounds in the process. Sometimes, with kidney disease, even eating right isn't enough, so when the labs came back with such a good report I was ecstatic.
He always tells people if it weren't for me he'd be dead, but he works so hard at this he's the real winner. I know, for a fact certain, I could not have gone through what he has over these years. Think I'll keep him.

No thoughts or clues about Horchata. Just wanted to step in here and go "yee-ha, happy, happy, happy". Good for you, Phyllis. Good, good, good. I'm just so proud of you. Polly
