It's not nice to brag! What is rain exactly, is it that wet stuff that use
to fall from the sky? Dallas has officially had .25 inch of rain since
January 1st. We were about 18-20 inches behind last year. It was almost 80
here today. Where is winter?

So if we take say a beer glass which has an inch of rain in it which has just fallen out of the sky we could project that 3 inch tube of glass up into the sky, all the way to outer space, on its way it would go through the cloud which before it rained was full of water vapour, the cloud is 8000 feet thick, so the one inch we will have in our glass comes out of the 96000 inches of sky so its been diluted 1/100000 approx, with air, so the water is very very sparse, and so it basically floats up there, riding the air thermals until it gets just a little bit denser when it all falls out of the sky and into your glass. ...
