OT Dogs and mail carriers (was Re: OT Grrr lousy UPS men)

Our old mail carrier at work (Mark -- fun guy) used to carry dog biscuits
for the dogs on his route. Needless to say, all the dogs loved him. But the
postmaster got on his case about it. Apparently the postmaster was afraid
the dogs would be upset when subs didn't have their biscuit. It had never
happened, and never mind that Mark left the box at work and was happy for
the subs to hand them out too, so no more biscuits. :(
I asked Mark if there were any rules against customers having dog biscuits
he could give out. Nope, no rules against it! We had a box of biscuits
behind the counter and Mark would come get them to hand out to our dog.
Several others on his route took up the cause, and we had lots of happy dogs
again. :)
