Re: Houston Questions

Book as soon as you possibly can. I went in 2004 & stayed at a fabulous
hotel & got an equally fabulous rate. I got it by calling them direct, not
on-line. The name of the hotel is The Magnolia. Their website is
www.magnoliahotels.com NAYY!! They also had a limosine at our disposal, so
it saved on getting a car or taxis. The hotel isn't far from the convention
center, but just in case you're lugging packages or you've been walking all
day :) I really appreciated the limo. It's a beautiful property - I guess
you'd call it a boutique hotel.

Also - we were turned onto an "insider tip" for a lunch restaurant. It
happened to be directly across the street from our hotel. It's call The
Cloister & it's in a church. www.treebeards.com It's cafeteria style, but
fabulous Southern style cooking. We had a huge lunch for about $10.00.
NAYY

Have fun!
