Polly, glad Tech Support was able to help you out. My other half's scanner
occasionally 'vanishes,' and it took me a while one day to discover what the
problem was. It turned out to be the large power block plugged into the
surge suppressor was slightly tilted, so that the connection wasn't quite
right. Went online to www.cyberguys.com and purchased a set of 5
Liberators. Haven't crawled under the desk to install one yet, but it's
sitting there waiting for the next time I want to use his scanner and it
doesn't work. Might as well do it when it acts up. Cyberguys has many
useful things for computers at good prices sd compared to what I found at
Best Buy. Shipping was pretty quick to, in case anyone has a technology
gift in mind for someone for Christmas.
