I suggested that she ask the microchip people who supplied the vets if
they have a record of what numbers went to which vets. It all seems a
bit inefficient to me - she is now just in the hands of the microchip
suppliers. At first they thought it was a French dog's number, but the
French suppliers had sold a batch of chips on to a British firm.
I haven't heard back from her, but it is the weekend of course.
