if you put OT: then it will disappear as people answer as then it gets
replaced by RE:

you will be fine :-)

I know I am one of the world's worst offenders of Off Topic posts on
this newsgroup.
So I have a question.
I try very hard to make it a point to put the "OT" at the beginning of
the subject line of these posts when I am the guilty party.
But then, when someone responds or replies to it - I notice after a
post or two, that the OT has suddenly disappeared and then I feel
guilty that I have created yet more, Off Topic banter that no longer
warns people it is Off Topic.
So how does that work? Why does that happen? Where does the OT
mysteriously go to?
Tina, tucking tail and slinking away into OT Neverland to find my OT
.
