Boy, I have pondered these two questions for a couple days!
F, 53
1. Sunrise, on a cloudy day, in autumn/winter. I have always tried to
leave for work to be able to be alone and watch the sunrise. When I
worked nights, they knew i would be outside at sunrise. In 1999 I did
"Fan Tango at Dawn" quilt to honor this time of day.
2. So many to list here. Guess one would be when I was training horses,
and my owner sent a horse out to me from Chicago. Moe had a bad trip
out and was very sick, almost dieing. He was in the stall right next to
my room, so I could watch him. We became very close, and he responded
in such a way I knew he realised we both worked hard to get him better.
Two months later he was back to racing, and fully recovered. He was
like an over-grown puppy dog, following me everywhere, and we spoke
that non-verbal language of caring for each other.
