I'd like to ask you all for a very big favor. To participate in a survery of sorts. I don't want or need your name, phone number or address. All I need are your answers, your sex (no, not your preference, your gender) and your age. If you are reluctant to post your age here publicly, I completely understand, but would you please, please, respond to me with your answers in private email if that is the case?
Thank you so much in advance, Hugs, Tina
Here are the questions. I want you to think about it for a minute, before you send your answer. Not too long, I want your gut response, the first answer you FEEL in your heart.
1. What is the most beautiful, awe inspiring thing you have ever seen, with your own two eyes, in your life? That thing that when you looked, gave you goosebumps, brought tears to your eyes, took your breath away.
Mummy stuff. James's first real smile. Almost on a par with that it the ceiling of the Chapter House of Ely cathedral. I remember lying on the floor, just gazing up at it with my dad. He was a very conventional RAF officer in some respects, but had this whimsical streak to him, and lying on the floor looking up with all the tourists stepping round us, and this earnest verger saying, 'That *does* give the best view, doesn't it! I do that every morning!' is one of my best memories.
2. What was the MOST enjoyable experience in your life, a happy time, a wonderful occasion, where was it or who were you with?
The day I realized that I could just sit in my then boyfriend's company and read: not have to talk or do anything, just read quietly, snuggled together on the sofa, each with our own books. A man you can do that with is a man you can live with. We've been married now for 23 and a half years, together almost 27.
That's it. There are NO right or wrong answers and sorry, there is no prize at the end. (Except perhaps, the enjoyment of a fond memory for yourself.) HUGS
