The employees at our post office are nice but it is difficult to find
parking. Once you are parked you have to carry your boxes up a flight
of stairs. They built a ramp several years ago but it is far from the
parking and has to double back because of the verticle distance. If I
take a package it must go on my luggage carrier because of the
distance.
Today I went at 4:00 p.m. You take a number as you enter the building.
There were 14 numbers in front of me and three clerks working. Each
clerk takes her time. It is like the entire world is moving in slow
motion.
Guess I shouldn't complain because I mailed three swap blocks, one HUG
and a squishie for $8.55. All should be delivered in three days. When
you think about all that is involved in moving a package across our
country and one to Canada $8.55 really isn't very much money.
