Re: Its so quiet in here!!!

wow, u'r good to get anything done with a wee babe in the house.
how bout you hang those blocks where baby N can see'em.
never too early to put the love of quilting into his thoughts.
heehee,
hugz for all of you,
jeanne
<btw, Di, i'm quiet? well if you say so but if i am its cuz the brain is
frazzled from power outage at 4:15am that set off our alarm cuz the battery
in it needs replacing, so no power, no battery to kick in and the d*amn
thing blared and blared and freak'n blared some more. dh and i both got up
to check, called power company (as you do, no help there) who'd sent a team
to fix whatever was wrong, sorry lady no idea how long it might take to fix
it, sure but can you hear my alarm going on here? soooooooooo??? sorry lady
no idea how long it might take to fix it. we both went back to bed with
pillows over our ears but i couldnt sleep then, so i got up to go to the
loo, grab a drink of milk to settle my stomach, back to bed, cant sleep, up
again, grab the thickest towel i could find and climbed on a chair trying to
muffle the sound, after 1.5 hours standing mufflling the sound as much as i
could... i gave up and went downstairs to the spare room with an unmade bed
(arghhhhhh) and pulled the duvet etc over my head, didnt hear a thing, woke
about 7:30 and the alarm was off, checked and dh must of seen some lights go
on and got up and hit the # combo to turn it all off.......needless to say
i'm in a foul mood, like i wasnt already from yesterdays email>
quiet eh? cant hear a damn thing today, my ears are destroyed i'm sure of
it. eh, what, huh just shoot me
