I am back at my computer again after a three week (mostly) hiatus. My husband, sister and I very much enjoyed meeting with Pat. Her LQS has a great selection and I am glad that my sister "helped". Otherwise, I might have missed out on a few of my goodies :-) Pat is a lovely hostess and we all enjoyed meeting her. I hope that I have the opportunity to shop with her again soon.

About 10 days ago I had the pleasure of meeting Rita and her family! She was in this area on vacation, with her DH and her sister. We arranged to meet at the closest LQS. We all arrived at the same time, and quickly introduced ourselves. After careful consideration, Rita and I each managed to find a few fabrics to buy. She ended up with more, but had an advantage, with her sister helping to find goodies!
Then we all went to a local Barbecue restaurant. I think it is more fun for visitors to go to local, rather than chain, restaurants. We enjoyed a good meal, and I certainly enjoyed our visit. To top it off, Rita presented me with a generous gift: a box of luxury chocolate that was local to her area, in Massachusetts. The chocolate was excellent, BTW, and I am glad to have 'vetted' it for Rita. She now can buy more of same for herself.
It sure is fun to meet other RCTQ people, and their lovely families!
