Re: MSN question. . .

MSN uses hotmail.
how is he reading his MSN?
what program is he useing?
is it with a browser and then to MSN website for his emails?
"I have MSN." indeed sounds like he isnt very computer literate.
not to worry tho. we all start out somewhere.
ask what kind of computer he has?
is it a PC rather than a MAC?
'maybe what brand do you have?' will tell us more....IBM, Compac, HP, Dell,
Gateway.
who'd he buy it from? any more info than 'i have msn' might help.
is he running Windows operating system?
if hes got windows, he has internet explorer and outlook express.
he might be getting his hotmail thru outlook express.
i did that when i first tried hotmail. dont use that at all any longer tho.
if hes got windows/outlook express he can go to his internet service
providers website and see if they do newsgroups. there will be all the info
he needs to get ngs working on outlook express.
this is possibly the most used operating system, tho dont anyone quote me on
that, lol.

if hes not got windows on a PC i got no more info to help.
tho as you said, he can indeed find us all on google groups.
good luck,
jeanne
