My ISP (Cox Communication) provides my popup blocker, virus protection,
firewall and parental control software (DGD). It updates often to stay on
top of the latest from the hackers. Norton was causing a lot of problems
beginning with their 2004 release so I dumped it. My local Techsupport SIL
says it's just not as good as it once was. To double check my ISP
protection I run the free edition of Ad-Aware SE and so far it appears my
ISP is doing a good job of protecting me.
