Are you telling us she really 'cleaned up' with her washer purchase Alice? : ) Glad to hear she is having such fun with all the moving and her new home. She is lucky to have you so close to share the fun. Taria

Well, my DD and I (and the baby who basically slept through the whole adventure) just got back from Sears where she bought her very own first washer and matching dryer! She chose Whirlpool and can't decide if she is more thrilled with having a washer with a soak cycle or a dryer with a "hamper" style door (opens down, not side ways) and a light inside. Just to make her day, she also bought a new refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. It's really neat! She is so excited. The seller left the appliances, but I think the washer and dryer had seen better days and the fridge was doubling as a Petri dish - yuk!
Now, she didn't buy top of the line and didn't get a lot of bells and whistles, but she is very proud of her choices and to boot, they will deliver, install and take away the old stuff for free! And, there's more! Because she bought the refrigerator, she got 10% off the price of the dryer. Paid for the new connections and then some. It was a good day.
Good luck on your hunt.
