Re: OT: washer and dryer

Yes, she "cleaned" up - and got a "cool" fridge as well - puns intended.
(Pat, I'm glad to hear someone else has this fridge, it looks so efficient
and logical). She is still planning the renovation of the kitchen which
will include at least a new dishwasher. The jury is still out on the stove,
but I think it's in wonderful condition but it's her house and her money
(phew, on both counts).

Painting should start this week. We baby-proofed the living room (nothing
in it but carpet) today so Finn will have a room all to himself and his
gazillion toys, yet still be able to see Mom on the ladder painting.
Everything is padded and I bought a great safety gate to close the room off
from the adjoining dining room. He will be safe, she can work with paints
and tools and tarps and not have to worry about getting lime green paint off
his cute face. But he IS a boy, so anything is still possible :>).
