So from freezing in the arctic temps we went up yesterday to snow at
noon and thereafter. In the night it changed to really heavy rain on
top of it all and this morning there is severe flooding, even trucks
are off the road.
So I didn't go to bridge this a.m. but am still hoping to make a lunch
date. I hate weather, I hate winter and wish I could hibernate in
winter - something like a squirrel does. They hibernate if it is
below zero but on sunny days, out they come, running along the
branches.
Winter should not be allowed, we should have permanent summer!
Rant over ~ for the time being.
You certainly are entitled to your rant. It's been a rotten winter for you
and everyone north of Florida.
Today's weather is perfect for today, but it's expected to maybe hit
freezing in parts of Florida tomorrow. Can you just imagine the outfits
people here, who are used to being overheated most of the time, will dig out
of their closets to keep warm?
I just finished a little Sweetheart Tree Teeny-Weeny called Think Snow. Now
I need to figure out how to finish it. I certainly don't want to pay a
fortune for a custom frame. It measures about 3+ by 4+ because I did it on
a scrap of Aida that was left from something. Any ideas would be welcome.
Lucille
doing pendibles, and biscornus, etc. Why not just finish it like a little
squishy thing - a pin cushion, or little sachet?
I've been stacking up a bunch of mid-size and some smalls that I'm just
doing as little pillows, or mini-wall hanginsgs - with minimal quilting.
