I disagree. One must look at the other side of the issue. Of what
utility is what we wish to ban? Automoblies, knives, etc. plus guns used
for hunting all have uses, other than to kill people. Here in Canada,
IMHO, hand guns, automatic rifles, and these sort of things are merely toys
for grown "children", for their own amusement. So we need to judge the value
of guns, other than those used for hunting, against the damage they can do
in the hands of the wrong people. IMHO, it is strictly no contest. The
value of automatic guns etc. are insignificant when measured against how
much damage they can do. Such things should be banned.
