Officially they are in school till the end of the month, but beginning
next week a lot of classes are dismissed for provincial exams which begin
on the 14th. Most high schools will have ended classes by then, but the
elementary and middle/junior high schools will keep going till the 30th or
so. In Red Deer they will return to school Aug 31st but many districts
refuse to return until after Labour Day.

Addie (teaching in Alberta even though some days I'd rather be out
enjoying the sun because our A/C is waaaaay too cold and we can't control
it!)



Here in Florida school ended May 31st and I believe they will go back before
Labor Day.

Camps and summer programs mostly start in July so the kids are wandering
around now with nothing much to do.
