I didn't really know if these *Ambassadors* got paid or not - now I
know. I realize that she had that job before Brad and that the
beautiful people really can raise money and concern for such causes -
it's a good thing for sure. I was just making a half-assed joke about
no job offer for me - really I was. :-))
Sharon (N.B.)
Maybe we could give you a seat in the Senate instead - that way you
could keep it till you die, get paid an exorbitant wage - and stay
home as well lol
If Harper's latest proposal for Senate reform is approved, new Senators
will
only have an 8 year term. This I'm sure is long enough to qualify for a
hefty pension...enough to keep you in stash for the rest of your
stitching
days! :))
Mavia
Aah I am glad you noticed that too, just long enough to then draw the
pension for life. We're cynics Mavia lol
And the idiots that have been there for decades are out???? Might be
worth
it! LOL
Don't know. They might be "grandfathered" in.

You're right Brenda...the old guys are still lifers! The 8 years would only
apply to new appointments.
Mavia
decent ones! (there are some decent ones???)
