I am getting a couple of projects together, to take with me on my trip.snip
One of them is one of the Dutch Treat tabletoppers (real tacky, palm
trees and Flamingos!). It uses Perle 5, no problem, and Caron
Wildflowers; I don't think I have ever stitched with this before. My
question is how do you organise the big skein, and extra strands so they
don't get snarled together?? It is too big to put on a bobbin; do you
use baggies, or what??

Do you mean Watercolors and not Wildflowers? Watercolors is the yarn
fiber that Claudia uses lots of in her tabletoppers. I usually keep
mine in a sandwich bag in a single knot, or a doves eye so I can undo
it when I want, and still keep the strands I'm using separately from
the others. I think I'm going to do the chicken one next - or the one
with crows and corn stalks. Those tabletoppers are very addictive
(I've nun stitched from here to Arizona & back) and have the added
bonus of not having to be framed! :-)
