I'm voting against Biden if not Obama. Together, they're as bad as
Billary. Have you seen enough yet to change your mind about Obama, Ed?

Quite the opposite. I haven't seen any presidential candidate who learns as
fast as he does, maybe ever. I'm impressed.

Listening to his _Audacity_ book, I agree that he's much more learned
than I had ever expected a Congresscritter to be. At the same time, I
can't understand his position on most things after acknowledging his
otherwise apparent brilliance. It's highly conflicted.

What I'm waiting for is to see where McCain settles on the tension between
his "maverick" stance and his need to corral the base of his party. So far,
it doesn't look good to me. It does indeed look like he could be Bush's
third term. But we have the three debates and the real, direct confrontation
yet to come. I'm watching and trying to keep an open mind.

I don't think he'll be much like Shrub at all, and I just hope he
hasn't made too many promises to the idiotic Reppublican party. It's
not the same party I grew up in, I tell you truly.

P.S: I've seen no sign of _Ricochet_ yet. The USPS must be walking it
over to me.

It went Book Rate. I'm very cheap. That means it's coming by mule train. Be
patient. <g>

Ah, it is being walked as I suspected. I've been amazed at how
quickly some Media Mail (book rate) parcels get here from the Wrong
Coast, though. The bicoastal record for my receipts is 6 days for
that, 2 days for Priority.

Thanks, in any case.
