Downs' is most frequently found in children born to women that are over the
age of 35 and Sarah Palin is 44.
Downs' is detectable during early pregnancy by having an Amniocentecis
test: a small sample of Uterine fluid is extracted and tested for the
specific genetic "markers" of Downs' Syndrome.
That she and her husband had both the strength of their convictions and the
"GUTS" to make the long-term commitment involved in raising/supporting a
Downs'-afflicted child says a great deal about both of them.
