Did I ever tell you about my great uncle, whose sideline was skinning
horses? He lived in town and did it in his front yard, wearing a suit

dress hat. That's the image I have of her with moose and unions. She's
skinning something in her front yard, all dressed up.

BTW, the story about my great uncle is not a joke. It happened around
1910 -
1920, in Greenland, New Hampshire.

The Huntress Library may still be there. Originally it was the first
stone house in New Hampshire.

Damn, I meant oldest *brick* house, not stone. Built by one of the Weeks',
who are intermarried with the Huntresses all over the place.

Damn again. The Huntress Library was what we called it when we were kids, to
tweak the nose of my paternal grandmother, Alice Weeks. It was the Weeks
Library, although Huntresses also lived there.

Getting old can be a real pain in the ass...
